We design and build safe access systems that protect personnel and facilitate efficient movement in plants, factories, and facilities.

a. Industrial Staircases

Our staircases are engineered for heavy-duty use, providing safe and reliable vertical access between levels, platforms, and mezzanines.

• Design & Compliance: Fabricated to meet or exceed OSHA 1910.24 and ANSI A1264.1 standards. We calculate optimal riser/tread dimensions, design for required live loads (typically 100 psf minimum), and incorporate landings as needed.
• Construction: Built from structural angles, channels, and plates. Treads are made from anti-slip chequered plate or serrated bar grating for safety in all conditions. Stair stingers are robustly welded for stability.
• Custom Configurations: Straight run, L-shaped, U-shaped, spiral, and ship (steep) ladders with cages. We integrate them seamlessly with existing platforms and structures.
• Finishing: Shot blasted and painted with high-visibility safety yellow or client-specified industrial coatings.

b. Safety Handrail & Guardrail Systems

Robust fall protection systems that define safe walkways and open edges, preventing accidents and ensuring regulatory compliance.

• Components: Complete systems including top rails, mid rails, toe kicks, and posts. Fabricated from steel pipe (schedule 40 or 80), square tubing, or aluminum for corrosion-resistant applications.
• Engineering for Strength: Designed to withstand a concentrated load of 200 lbs. applied in any direction, as per OSHA standards. Posts are spaced appropriately and welded to the supporting structure.
• Standard Heights: Typically 42" high for top rail with a mid-rail at 21". Toe plates (4" minimum) prevent tools and materials from falling.
• Applications: Platform perimeters, mezzanine edges, walkway boundaries, and around open pits or equipment.

c. Elevated Walkways & Catwalks

Secure, dedicated pathways that provide safe overhead access for personnel across machinery, between buildings, or over process areas.

• Custom Design: Engineered to span specific distances with minimal deflection. We consider required width (often 36" minimum clear), live loads (for personnel and maintenance equipment), and attachment points to existing structures.
• Decking Options: Can be fitted with bar grating (for light, drainage, and ventilation), chequered plate (for solid footing), or FRP grating (for corrosive environments).
• Integrated Safety: Always includes full handrail/guardrail systems and may feature safety gates at ladder access points.

d. Industrial Ladders

Fixed vertical access solutions for tanks, silos, equipment, and limited-space areas where a staircase is not feasible.

• Types:
  • Vertical Ladders with Safety Cages: Required for climbs over 20 feet. Cages provide fall arrest and meet OSHA cage dimension specifications.
  • Ship's Ladders: Steep, space-saving ladders for low-traffic areas.
• Features: Rungs are knurled or coated for slip resistance. Ladders are securely welded to supporting structures with gusseted supports. Offset designs keep the ladder clear of the structure for better footing.

a. Raised Platforms & Mezzanine Floors

• Design-Build Service: We assess load requirements (storage, equipment, personnel), column placement for minimal floor obstruction, and provide full structural drawings.
• Construction: Primary and secondary beams (I-beams, HSS) support a deck of chequered plate or bar grating. Includes integrated staircases, guardrails, and gates.
• Applications: Additional storage mezzanines, elevated control rooms, equipment access platforms, and multi-level processing areas.

b. Custom Skids & Equipment Supports

• Precision Engineering: Skids are designed to exact equipment footprint and weight distribution specifications, often including pipe racks, cable trays, and local platforms.
• Fabrication: Built from heavy wide-flange beams or tubing. Lifting lugs and forklift pockets are integrated for easy transport and installation.
• Benefit: Allows for pre-assembly and testing of equipment in our workshop, reducing costly on-site installation time and improving quality.

c. Industrial Canopies & Shelters

An open-grid flooring system ideal for platforms, walkways, trenches, and stair treads where drainage, light passage, and ventilation are key.

• Types:
  • Welded Steel Grating: Made from bearing bars welded to cross bars. Economical and strong.
  • Press-Locked Grating: Bearing and cross bars are mechanically interlocked for a smooth, snag-free surface.
  • Riveted Grating: For extremely heavy loads, often used in offshore and military applications.
• Materials: Mild steel, galvanized steel, aluminum, or stainless steel (304/316) for corrosive environments.
• Specifications: Selected based on bearing bar spacing, depth, and thickness to meet required load spans (as per NAAMM standards).

b. Chequered Plate (Checkered Plate) Flooring

• Applications: Workshop floors, vehicle service pits, machinery walkways, trailer beds, and industrial stair treads.
• Thickness & Sizes: Commonly available in thicknesses from 3mm to 10mm. We shear or plasma cut to exact dimensions.
• Installation: Plates can be welded or bolted down to a supporting steel frame. We provide pre-cut and drilled plates for fast on-site installation.
• Finishing: Can be supplied as raw mill finish, primed, or painted with durable anti-slip coatings.
